Stefan Steger Joins Korn/Ferry as Managing Director of Switzerland

ZURICH, Oct 07, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Korn/Ferry International (KFY 16.74, +0.38, +2.32%), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Stefan Steger has joined the Firm as Managing Director of Switzerland.

Mr. Steger joins Korn/Ferry after more than 10 years at Heidrick & Struggles, where he served as a Managing Partner in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe, working with executives at the highest levels of organizations throughout the region. Throughout his career, he has built a broad expertise in executive recruiting, leadership consulting, senior leadership reviews and effectiveness analysis. Mr. Steger has also worked closely with industrial services organizations, with a strong focus on process industries, oil and gas.

A multicultural professional, with Austrian and Swiss credentials and experience, Mr. Steger is fluent in German, English and French, and speaks Italian. He was previously the managing director of a Swiss subsidiary of VA TECH, one of Austria's largest global industrial groups. Earlier in his career, Mr. Steger was a lawyer in a public notary's office in Austria and later worked for Bank Austria in London.
