    NPR has named JEFF PERKINS as VP and "Chief People Officer."  PERKINS, most recently Managing Partner atHUNTBRIDGE INC., will head the network's human resources development and will report to SVP Operations and FInance DEBRA DELMAN, starting JULY6th.
    "JEFF brings deep experience in human resources and an extensive media background to NPR," said DELMAN. "I'm delighted to have him on board to help us achieve our ambitious goals."
    PERKINS, whose resume also includes stops at FOX INTERACTIVE MEDIA, AOL TIME WARNER, and AC NIELSEN, said, "NPR is a natural fit for me: a world-class media outlet bringing information, news, music and viewpoints about an endless variety of topics to audiences both on-air and online. I look forward to working with this very talented team of people in a city I have long called home."
