Craig Gomez Takes Over HR At CoStar Group

Craig F. Gomez, Former Human Resources Executive With Cisco Systems and GE, Joins CoStar Group as Chief Human Resources Officer

BETHESDA, Md., Feb. 24, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CoStar Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:CSGP), the number one provider of information, marketing and analytic services to the commercial real estate industry, today announced the appointment of Craig F. Gomez as Chief Human Resources Officer. Gomez brings more than 27 years of experience in managing, assessing and developing human capital as a senior-level human resources executive for several world-class organizations, including General Electric, GE Capital, Pepsico and Cisco Systems.

Gomez will be responsible for all aspects of human resource initiatives throughout CoStar and its operating subsidiaries, including hiring, compensation, benefits and training and development. He will report directly to CoStar Group's Chief Executive Officer Andrew C. Florance.

Gomez's broad-based human resources experience includes significant expertise in the areas of leadership development, change management, organizational development, corporate education and training. He has a special interest in leadership development programs and helped design and implement Cisco University as well as leadership development programs at GE Capital. He also has designed and implemented talent assessment tools and programs, process improvement programs and conducted extensive merger and acquisition work for both GE and Cisco Systems as Director of World Wide Acquisition Integration.

He holds a BA in Communications and an MBA, both from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
