CIT Appoints Lisa D. Zonino Global Head of Human Resources

NEW YORK, Jul 13, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- CIT Group Inc. (CIT 37.00+0.02+0.05%), a leading provider of financing to small businesses and middle market companies, today announced the appointment of Lisa D. Zonino as Executive Vice President, Global Head of Human Resources effective immediately. She will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer John A. Thain.

Ms. Zonino most recently led the Global Risk Practice for Egon Zehnder International, a global executive search firm, where she was responsible for recruiting and talent assessment in the financial services sector. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder she held senior administrative and operating roles in the risk and finance functions at Morgan Stanley. Ms. Zonino began her career at Bankers Trust Company where she held various business management roles in Risk Advisory, Capital Markets and Private Wealth Management.
