Tripwire Appoints Aliza Scott As Vice President of Human Resources

Tripwire has just added two new executives as the rapidly growing downtown Portland software company expands and prepares for a possible IPO. Former Merix Corp. CFO Kelly Lang now holds that title at Tripwire. He's previously held finance posts at Schnitzer Steel, Tektronix and Crown Pacific Partners. Former CFO Bob McCarthy remains with Tripwire, where he's worked since 1999, as vice president of finance. Additionally, Aliza Scott is Tripwire's new vice president of human resources. She comes over from Autodesk's Portland office, and previously was global HR director for FEI Co.Tripwire's software helps clients monitor their computer networks to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards. It reported 2009 revenue of $74 million, up 19 percent from '08. The company's work force has grown from 261 last fall to 304 now, including 203 at its Portland headquarters. Tripwire also has close to two-dozen open jobs on its Web site.
