A Classic Corporate Blunder -- Microsoft Lays Off Workers And Then Asks Them To Return The Money

If you have not seen this story over at CNET you are missing out on a good one. Microsoft overpaid severances and is now asking the laid off workers for a refund! Only in Microsoftland could something this ludicrous happen. They have so much money laying around they can hardly keep track of it. Most of my friends who work there admit they could lay off another 10,000 and no one would even blink.
